Junior High Rockets Destroy Tri-County
The Harmony Junior High Boys’
Football team saved their best to the last game of their season.
The Rockets totally dominated the game against Tri-County at home
on October 19th.
Harmony scored on their first
offensive series and led 30-0 at the end of the first quarter. The
Rocket defense kept Tri-county from scoring and increased their
lead to 44-0 at half time.
Harmony continued to dominate the
second half and won the game 66-8.
The young Rockets finished their
season with 4 wins and 1 loss. They scored 248 points in 5 games
and only allowed 88 points. This year’s team had (7) 8th grade
players – Tyler Pace, Jess Twiss, Colten Turner, Chase Brotherton,
Thomas Spears, Dylan Fields, and Zach Vititoe. The Rockets also had
(11) 7th grade players – Winston Wallingford, Colten Pohren, Bryan
Dye, Patrick Douthart, Jorge Gonzales, Taryn Counts, Stephen
Townsend, Coty Miller, Dalton Wood, Trevor Poole, and Richie
Franklin.
